Skein is a collaborative experimental performance uniting sound and movement, skin and cloth. Skein explores the boundaries of subjectivity through both the individual and collective experience of the body and the dynamic and physical experiences of these relationships, questioning the idea of skin as a boundary which separates us from the world and from others. Skein was developed as part of a collaboration between five artists: dancer Alys Hughes, visual artists Karen Le Roy Harris and Miriam Sedacca, and visual and sound artists Lola de la Mata and Heather Ryall. Supported by ArtHouse Jersey.
